Externally and internally, they had the typical design of the so-called military-styled ribbed P.38 grips. Is that a 'y' or a 'g' next to the serial number? The bore looks great - shiny with sharp rifling, no pitting. Most that I found were a minimum of $500+. So I went home and did some research, checked Simpsons, Gun Broker and just about every other online C&R source I could think of. I saw this yesterday but did not have my C&R and COE paperwork on me. About 15 minutes are starting this thread, I said F it, I'm buying it.
